I Think My Experience At The University Of Chicago, Working In The Civil Rights Movement, Working In The Peace Movement, Working With Community Organizations, Did A Lot To Influence The Politics That I Have.

We Have To Invest In Our Kids, We Have To Invest In Our Communities, We Have To Create Jobs. We Have To Make Certain That Kids Are Not Dropping Out Of School And Hanging Out On Street Corners.

As A Nation, There Are Many Issues We Don`t Talk About, We Just Don`t Talk About, Push Them Under The Rug. Poverty Is One Of Those Issues.

Black Lives, Of Course, Matter. I Spent 50 Years Of My Life Fighting For Civil Rights And For Dignity, But If You Don't Want Me To Be Here, That's Ok. I Don't Want To Out-scream People.

When We Talk About The Healthcare Crisis In America We've Got To Also Be Talking About The Dental Crisis And How To Address It.
