To Those Who Cite The First Amendment As Reason For Excluding God From More And More Of Our Institutions And Everyday Life, May I Just Say: The First Amendment Of The Constitution Was Not Written To Protect The People Of This Country From Religious Values; It Was Written To Protect Religious Values From Government Tyranny.

You Are Worried About What Man Has Done And Is Doing To This Magical Planet That God Gave Us. And I Share Your Concern. What Is A Conservative After All But One Who Conserves, One Who Is Committed To Protecting And Holding Close The Things By Which We Live...and We Want To Protect And Conserve The Land On Which We Live - Our Countryside, Our Rivers And Mountains, Our Plains And Meadows And Forests. This Is Our Patrimony. This Is What We Leave To Our Children. And Our Great Moral Responsibility Is To Leave It To Them Either As We Found It Or Better Than We Found It.

Coersion, After All, Merely Captures Man. Freedom Captivates Him.

It Has Been Said That Politics Is The Second Oldest Profession. I Have Learned That It Bears A Striking Resemblance To The First.

As Long As There Are Guns, The Individual That Wants A Gun For A Crime Is Going To Have One And Going To Get It. The Only Person Who's Going To Be Penalized And Have Difficulty Is The Law-abiding Citizen, Who Then Cannot Have [it] If He Wants Protection -- The Protection Of A Weapon In His Home.
