I Do Believe That We Should Substantially Lower Student Debt In This Country, Which Is Crushing Millions Of People. We Pay For It, In My View, By A Tax On Wall Street Speculation. The Middle Class Bailed Out Wall Street In Their Time Of Need. Now, It Is Wall Street's Time To Help The Middle Class.

For Democrats To Win, They're Going To Have To Address The Needs Of Working People. They're Going To Have To Address The Needs Of The Middle Class. And That Means Standing Up To Wall Street, Standing Up To The Greed Of Corporate America. Even Now And Then, Standing Up To The Media. And That Means Having A Candidate Who Can Excite Working Families, Excite Young People, Bring Them Into The Political Process, Create A Large Voter Turnout.

I Think There Are Many People In The Working Class Who Say, You Know What? Yes, Maybe We Are Better Off Than We Were Eight Years Ago, But I Am Still Working Two Or Three Jobs, My Kid Can't Afford To Go To College, I Can't Afford Child Care, My Real Wages Have Been Going Down For 40 Years. The Middle Class Is Shrinking. Who's Standing Up For Me?

The Political World Is Changing Rapidly. What The Establishment Has Learned, What The Democratic Establishment, The Republican Establishment, The Media Establishment, Is The World Is Not Quite What They Thought It Was. With The Middle Class Disappearing, With People Working Longer Hours For Lower Rages, With People Worried About The Future Of Their Children, What You Are Seeing Is A Lot Of Discontent At The Grassroots Level All Over This Country. And That's What's Going On Right Now.
