We Need God In Ways We Do

Husbands Are Not Christ. But They Are Called To Be Like Him. And The Specific Point Of Likeness Is The Husband's Readiness To Suffer For His Wife's Good Without Threatening Or Abusing Her. This Includes Suffering To Protect Her From Any Outside Forces That Would Harm Her, As Well As Suffering Disappointments Of Abuses Even From Her. This Kind Of Love Is Possible Because Christ Died For Both Husband And Wife. Their Sins Are Forgiven. Neither Needs To Make The Other Suffer For Sins. Christ Has Borne That Suffering. Now As Two Sinful And Forgiven People We Can Return Good For Evil.

If You Want To Be A Conduit For God's Grace, You Don't Have To Be Lined With Gold. Copper Will Do.

The Key To Christian Living Is A Thirst And Hunger For God. And One Of The Main Reasons People Do Not Understand Or Experience The Sovereignty Of Grace And The Way It Works Through The Awakening Of Sovereign Joy Is That Their Hunger And Thirst For God Is So Small.

Without Extended, Concentrated Prayer, The Ministry Of The Word Withers. And When The Ministry Of The Word Declines, Faith (rom. 10:17; Gal. 3:2, 5) And Holiness (john 17:17) Decline. Activity May Continue, But Life And Power And Fruitfulness Fade Away. Therefore, Whatever Opposes Prayer Opposes The Whole Work Of Ministry.
