There Are Certain Truths Which Stand Out So Openly On The Roadsides Of Life, As It Were, That Every Passer-by May See Them. Yet, Because Of Their Obviousness, The General Run Of People Disregard Such Truths Or At Least They Do Not Make Them The Object Of Any Concious Knowledge. People Are So Bliend To Some Of The Simplest Facts In Everyday Life That They Are Highly Surprised When Somebody Calls Attention To What Everybody Ought To Know.

With The Defeat Of The Reich And Pending The Emergence Of The Asiatic, The African And, Perhaps, The South American Nationalisms, There Will Remain In The World Only Two Great Powers Capable Of Confronting Each Other-the United States And Soviet Russia. The Laws Of Both History And Geography Will Compel These Two Powers To A Trial Of Strength, Either Military Or In The Fields Of Economics And Ideology. (2nd April 1945)

When There Is Change, It Must Not Alter The Content Of What Propaganda Is Driving At, But In The End Must Always Say The Same Thing. For Instance, A Slogan Must Be Presented From Different Angles, But The End Of All Remarks Must Always And Immutably Be The Slogan Itself. Only In This Way Can The Propaganda Have A Unified And Complete Effect.
