Directly Down The Lawn And Accross The Ellipse From The White House Are Those Ordered, Classic Lines Of The Jefferson Memorial And The Eyes Of The 19-foot Statue That Gaze Directly Into The White House, A Reminder To Any Of Us Who Might Occupy That Mansion Of The Quality Of Mind And Generosity Of Heart That Once Abided There And Has Been So Rarely Seen There Again.

In My Eighty Years, I Prefer To Call That The Forty-first Anniversary Of My Thirty Ninth Birthday, I've Seen What Men Can Do For Each Other And Do To Each Other, I've Seen War And Peace, Feast And Famine, Depression And Prosperity, Sickness And Health. I've Seen The Depth Of Suffering And The Peaks Of Triumph And I Know In My Heart That Man Is Good, That What Is Right Will Always Eventually Triumph And That There Is Purpose And Worth To Each And Every Life.

An America That Is Militarily And Economically Strong Is Not Enough. The World Must See An America That Is Morally Strong With A Creed And A Vision. This Is What Has Led Us To Dare And Achieve. For Us, Values Count.
