We Know That Dictators Are Quick To Choose Aggression, While Free Nations Strive To Resolve Differences In Peace. We Know That Oppressive Governments Support Terror, While Free Governments Fight The Terrorists In Their Midst. We Know That Free Peoples Embrace Progress And Life, Instead Of Becoming The Recruits For Murderous Ideologies.

I Believe The Role Of Government Is To Stand Side By Side With Our Citizens To Help Them Realize Their Dreams, Not Tell Citizens How To Live Their Lives.

I Think It's Very Important That We Protect Marriage As An Institution Between A Man And A Woman. I Proposed A Constitutional Amendment. The Reason I Did So Was Because I Was Worried That Activist Judges Are Actually Defining The Definition Of Marriage. And The Surest Way To Protect Marriage Between A Man And Woman Is To Amend The Constitution.
