If Wisdom Governs Our Actions; But If The World Is Mad Or Foolish, It Can Destroy Itself Just When Great Advances And Triumphs Are Almost Without Its Grasp.

We Live In A Wonderful World That Is Full Of Beauty, Charm And Adventure. There Is No End To The Adventures That We Can Have If Only We Seek Them With Our Eyes Open.

Crises And Deadlocks When They Occur Have At Least This Advantage, That They Force Us To Think.

The Spectacle Of What Is Called Religion, Or At Any Rate Organised Religion, In India And Elsewhere, Has Filled Me With Horror And I Have Frequently Condemned It And Wished To Make A Clean Sweep Of It. Almost Always It Seemed To Stand For Blind Belief And Reaction, Dogma And Bigotry, Superstition, Exploitation And The Preservation Of Vested Interests.
