Maybe Writing Wouldn't Have Any Rewards. Maybe The Salvation I Would Gain Through Work Would Only Be Emotional And Intellectual. Wouldn't That Be Enough, To Be A Waitress Who Found An Hour Or Two Hidden In Every Day To Write?

I Tend To Keep My Ideas In My Head. When I Write Something Down In A Notebook It's Never Centralized. There Are Too Many Notebooks Floating Around, But Maybe That's A Good Thing.

We Are Taught To Be Suspicious, Especially Of Anyone Who Might Not Look Like Us Or Share Our Beliefs.

The Records He Cherished, The Rare Opportunities To See A Live Performance, Those Were The Marks By Which He Gauged His Ability To Love.
