It Never Cost A Disciple Anything To Follow Jesus; To Talk About Cost When You Are In Love With Anyone Is An Insult.

Our Lord’s Making Of A Disciple Is Supernatural. He Does Not Build On Any Natural Capacity Of Ours At All. God Does Not Ask Us To Do The Things That Are Naturally Easy For Us- He Only Asks Us To Do The Things That We Are Perfectly Fit To Do Through His Grace, And That Is Where The Cross We Must Bear Will Always Come.

If We Are Devoted To The Cause Of Humanity, We Shall Soon Be Crushed And Broken-hearted, For We Shall Often Meet With More Ingratitude From Men Than We Would From A Dog; But If Our Motive Is Love To God, No Ingratitude Can Hinder Us From Serving Our Fellow Men.

Abandonment To God Is Of More Value Than Personal Holiness!

If We Are To Be Ready For Jesus Christ, We Have To Stop Being Religious (that Is, Using Religion As A Higher Kind Of Culture) And Be Spiritually Real.
