Remembrance Is A Form Of Meeting.

When Your Friend Speaks His Mind You Fear Not The 'nay' In Your Own Mind, Nor Do You Withhold The 'ay. And When He Is Silent Your Heart Ceases Not To Listen To His Heart; For Without Words, In Friendship, All Thoughts, All Desires, All Expectations Are Born And Shared, With Joy That Is Unacclaimed. When You Part From Your Friend, You Grieve Not; For That Which You Love Most In Him May Be Clearer In His Absence, As The Mountain To The Climber Is Clearer From The Plain.

And Before My Soul Took Me To Task I Was Hard Of Hearing; I Heard Only Tumult And Uproar. But Now I Am All Ears Listening To The Silence And Its Choirs Singing The Hymns Of Time, Intoning The Praises Of The Firmament, Revealing The Secrets Of The Invisible.

Work Is Love Made Visible. And If You Cannot Work With Love But Only With Distaste, It Is Better That You Should Leave Your Work And Sit At The Gate Of The Temple And Take Alms Of Those Who Work With Joy. For If You Bake Bread With Indifference, You Bake A Bitter Bread That Feeds But Half Man's Hunger. And If You Grudge The Crushing Of The Grapes, Your Grudge Distils A Poison In The Wine. And If You Sing Though As Angels, And Love Not The Singing, You Muffle Man's Ears To The Voices Of The Day And The Voices Of The Night.

Out Of My Deeper Heart A Bird Rose And Flew Skywards. Higher And Higher Did It Rise, Yet Larger And Larger Did It Grow. At First It Was But Like A Swallow, Then A Lark, Then An Eagle, Then As Vast As A Spring Cloud, And Then It Filled The Starry Heavens. Out Of My Heart A Bird Flew Skywards. And It Waxed Larger As It Flew. Yet It Left Not My Heart.
