When I Was Growing Up, I Fetishised New York City. It Was The Land Of Lou Reed And The Velvet Underground, It Was Where Leonard Cohen Wrote 'chelsea Hotel', It Was Cbgbs And All The Punk Rock Clubs. Artists And Musicians Lived There, And It Was Cheap And Dangerous.

Scotland Is One Of My Favourite Places To Perform: It's Really Something Special. Scottish Audiences Are Just So Enthusiastic; Their Approach To Dance Music Just Feels Similar To My Own Somehow.

Everyone Feels Awkward, Everyone Feels Uncomfortable, Everyone Gets Older, Everyone Gets Lonely, Everyone Gets Sick, Everyone Eventually Dies. You’re At The Aspen Ideas Fest, And You Have These Really Smart, Really Accomplished People Who Pretend Like They’ve Somehow Figured Out A Way To Bypass The Human Condition. We Live In This Culture Where There Are So Many Things That Want Us To Pretend That We’re Not Truly Human.
