Children Should Be Allowed To Express Themselves In Whatever Way They Wish Without Anybody Judging Them Because It Is An Important Part Of Their Growth... Society Always Has Something To Learn When It Comes To The Way We Judge Each Other, Label Each Other. We Have Far To Go.

I'm A Very Private Person. I Don't Go Out Much. I'm Home With Kids. I Go To Work. I Don't Really Like Being The Focus Of Attention, Which Is Why I Like Being Behind The Camera More.

What Surprised Me About Directing Is How Much I Loved It And How Happy I Am To Be On The Set. I Love Coming To Work In The Morning. What I Realized Is That I Never Loved Acting. I Don't Love Being In The Hair And Makeup Chair. I Don't [love] Being In Costume. To Me The Strangest Thing Is That I've Just Spent The Majority Of My Life In One Aspect Of This Business, And Because I Was Fortunate Enough To Become Successful I Never Questioned Whether I Felt At Home And Found Out Later In Life That I'm Much Happier Directing.

Progress Is Slow, It Is Uneven, It Is Fragile And In Some Parts Of The World It Is Being Erased.

I've Often Felt Unattractive Or Different Looking. As I've Grown Up, I've Felt More Comfortable In My Own Skin. It May Sound Cliche, But When You Feel Beautiful And Strong On The Inside, It Shows On The Outside.
