I Started Out As The President Of A Small College In Minnesota In 1947. And I Had Five Years Of Experience At The College. Then We Went To Los Angeles. And The Press Got To What We Were Doing. And I Went To Boston, Which Is My Next Series Of Meetings. That Was In 1950.

In The Founding Era Of Our Country, It Was Not Organized Religion But Personal Faith That Brought Focus And Unified The Early Leadership-maybe An Unspoken Faith In God, And Certain Values That Came With That Faith. So In That Sense, We Cannot Discount, In My Judgment, Religious Faith In Politics.

If Ever There Was A Time This Country Needed The Intervention Of God, It Is Now. We Can And Should Pray For America As A Whole, But Remember That When God Sets Out To Change A Nation, He Begins By Changing People. It Starts With Individuals.

Think About The Holes Children Make When They Dig In The Sand On The Seashore. When The Waves Come In, The Holes Are Swallowed Up By The Ocean. Similarly, When We Know Christ, Our Physical Death Is Overwhelmed By The Love And Grace Of God. Death Is Swallowed Up In The Victory Of Christ.
