I Went To My First National Convention In 1976, When My Family Supported [ronald] Reagan Over [gerald] Ford, So We've Always Been Republicans, But We've Always Wanted The Republican Party To Be The Party Of Fiscally Conservative, Limited-government Types. And I Think, Sometimes, We Haven't Done That As Well.

I Think If You Have A Two-story Office And You Hire Someone Who's Handicapped, It Might Be Reasonable To Let Him Have An Office On The First Floor Rather Than The Government Saying You Have To Have A $100,000 Elevator.

We Have To Have A More Realistic Foreign Policy And Not A Utopian One Where We Say, Oh, We're Going To Spread Freedom And Democracy, And Everybody In The Middle East Is Going To Love Us. They Are Not Going To Love Us.

One Of The Things That Came Out Of The Campaign, As I Recall, Was A High Ranking [hillary's] Clinton Official, I Believe, Sent Their Password Via Email. We Also Need To Learn How To Protect Our Own Information. And I Think That's Important As Well.

I Don't Like The Idea Of Telling Private Business Owners. I Abhor Racism. I Think It's A Bad Business Decision To Ever Exclude Anybody From Your Restaurant. But At The Same Time I Do Believe In Private Ownership. I Think There Should Be Absolutely No Discrimination In Anything That Gets Public Funding.
