I Take Seriously The Concerns That Voters Are Expressing. There's A Lot Of Disappointment, Fear, Even Anger, Among People Who Believe That The Economy Has Failed Them, Their Government Has Failed Them, Politics Has Failed Them. They Have Every Right To Be Concerned.

I Have Met Thousands And Thousands Of Pro-choice Men And Women. I Have Never Met Anyone Who Is Pro-abortion.

It Is Important To Recognize The Limited Ability Of The Legal System To Prescribe And Enforce The Quality Of Social Arrangements.

I Have Gone From A Barry Goldwater Republican To A New Democrat, But I Think My Underlying Values Have Remained Pretty Constant; Individual Responsibility And Community. I Do Not See Those As Being Mutually Inconsistent.

The Government Has No Business In The Decisions That Women Make With Their Families In Accordance With Their Faith, With Medical Advice. And I Will Stand Up For That Right.
