I Do Think We Lost Some Of The Focus On The Attacks In San Bernardino And Focused On A Plan That Isn't Really A Plan And Is Never Going To Happen.

But America Was Founded On The Principle That Every Person Has God-given Rights. That Power Belongs To The People. That Government Exists To Protect Our Rights And Serve Our Interests. That We Shouldn’t Be Trapped In The Circumstances Of Our Birth. That We Should Be Free To Go As Far As Our Talents And Work Can Take Us.

Let Me Start By Saying That I Do Not Enjoy Nor Relish The Partisan Role Of Attack Dog. I Never Found Any Fun In That. I Don't Think It's Constructive. I Don't Intend To Become That Here In The Senate.

We [the Usa] Have A $16 Trillion Debt Which These Tax Increases Will Do Nothing To Solve And You Will Have At Least 200,000 Less Jobs Next Year Than You Have Now. And The People Who Vote For That Will Be Responsible For That Decision And They Will Held Accountable For That Terrible Public Policy.

We Need To Ensure That Our Foreign Policy Towards Cuba Incentivizes And Makes It Easier For There To Be A Democratic Transition. That Is How I Would Examine Our Foreign Policy Towards Cuba.
