I Know The Anger Lies Inside Of Me Like I Know The Beat Of My Heart And The Taste Of My Spit. It Is Easier To Be Furious Than To Be Yearning. Easier To Crucify Myself In You Than To Take On The Threatening Universe Of Whiteness By Admitting That We Are Worth Wanting Each Other.

I Am Still Learning - How To Take Joy In All The People I Am, How To Use All My Selves In The Service Of What I Believe, How To Accept When I Fail And Rejoice When I Succeed.

It Forms The Quality Of The Light Within Which We Predicate Our Hopes And Dreams Toward Survival And Change, First Made Into Language, Then Into Idea, Then Into More Tangible Action. Poetry Is The Way We Help Give Name To The Nameless So It Can Be Thought. The Farthest Horizons Of Our Hopes And Fears Are Cobbled By Our Poems, Carved From The Rock Experiences Of Our Daily Lives.
