You Might As Well Baptize A Bag Of Sand As A Man, If Not Done In View Of The Remission Of Sins And Getting Of The Holy Ghost. Baptism By Water Is But Half A Baptism, And Is Good For Nothing Without The Other Half-that Is, Baptism Of The Holy Ghost.

The Standard Of Truth Has Been Erected: No Unhallowed Hand Can Stop The Work From Progressing, Persecutions May Rage, Mobs May Combine, Armies May Assemble, Calumny May Defame, But The Truth Of God Will Go Forth Boldly, Nobly, And Independent Till It Has Penetrated Every Continent, Visited Every Clime, Swept Every Country, And Sounded In Every Ear, Till The Purposes Of God Shall Be Accomplished And The Great Jehovah Shall Say The Work Is Done.

Let Us This Very Day Begin Anew, And Now Say, With All Our Hearts, We Will Forsake Our Sins And Be Righteous.

The Book Of Mormon Is True, Just What It Purports To Be, And For This Testimony I Expect To Give An Account In The Day Of Judgment.

Patriotism Should Be Sought For And Will Be Found In Right Living. No Man Can Be A Good Latter-day Saint And Not Be True To The Best Interests And General Welfare Of His Country.
