When My Kids Were In Preschool, I Was Part Of A Carpooling Group. One Mother Sometimes Showed Up With Bruises On Her Body. She Always Had An Excuse. Then One Morning, She Didn't Show Up. Later, I Learned She'd Fled A Violent Marriage. I've Always Thought, If Only I'd Known, Maybe I Could Have Helped.

Caring For Our Veterans Is The Duty Of A Grateful Nation.

For A Deeply Religious Purpose, There Are People Who Do Not Personally Believe That Abortion Is Acceptable. I Understand That. But This Is A Country Where We Don't Impose Religious Beliefs On The Entire Country. This Is A Country Where We Accept Differences Of Opinion.

I Think What's Been Lacking From Our Discussion For A Long Time Is Really That Other Part Of What A Budget Chair Does, Which Is Set The Priorities For This Country In Terms Of Making Sure We Invest In The Right Places, In Education, In Job Training, And To Make Sure We Do A Balanced Approach Moving Forward.
