Throughout Jesus' Ministry, He Took Time Away From The Crowds And Even His Disciples To Pray By Himself. Jesus Modeled The Importance Of Not Only Serving God With Our Actions But Of Being Still And Drawing Close To God To Renew Our Souls.

There Is A Sense In Which The Christian's Life On Earth Is A Dress Rehearsal For Heaven. Not In Terms Of Costumes And Theatrics, But In Terms Of Worship And Devotion To The One We Will Worship For All Eternity - The Lamb Who Sits On The Throne Of Heaven.

Prayer Is The Way You Defeat The Devil, Reach The Lost, Restore A Backslider, Strengthen The Saints, Send Missionaries Out, Cure The Sick, Accomplish The Impossible, And Know The Will Of God.

But Evil Has Been Around Since The Garden Of Eden, And God's Plan For Victory Was Designed Before The World Began. The Bible Tells Us To Fear No Evil.

In A Sense, We Are Better Prepared To Praise God Than The Angels Are, For Angels Have Never Known The Joy Of Redemption.
