It Is The Place Where We Tear Off That Mask Of Guarded And Suspicious Coldness Which The World Forces Us To Wear In Self-defense, And Where We Pour Out The Unreserved Communications Of Full And Confiding Hearts. It Is The Spot Where Expressions Of Tenderness Gush Out Without Any Sensation Of Awkwardness And Without Any Dread Of Ridicule.

We Win By Tenderness. We Conquer By Forgiveness.

He Who Seeks Truth Must Be Content With A Lonely, Little-trodden Path. If He Cannot Worship Her Till She Has Been Canonized By The Shouts Of The Multitude, He Must Take His Place With The Members Of That Wretched Crowd Who Shouted For Two Long Hours, "great Is Diana Of The Ephesians!" Till Truth, Reason, And Calmness Were All Drowned In Noise.
