This Declaration May Well Become The International Magna Carta For All Men Everywhere. We Hope Its Proclamation By The General Assembly Will Be An Event Comparable To The Proclamation In 1789 [of The French Declaration Of The Rights Of Man], The Adoption Of The Bill Of Rights By The People Of The U.s., And The Adoption Of Comparable Declarations At Different Times In Other Countries.

To Me Who Dreamed So Much As A Child, Who Made A Dreamworld In Which I Was The Heroine Of An Unending Story, The Lives Of People Around Me Continued To Have A Certain Storybook Quality. I Learned Something Which Has Stood Me In Good Stead Many Times - The Most Important Thing In Any Relationship Is Not What You Get But What You Give.

Perhaps Nature Is Our Best Assurance Of Immortality.

Nothing Alive Can Stand Still, It Goes Forward Or Back. Life Is Interesting Only As Long As It Is A Process Of Growth; Or, To Put It Another Way, We Can Only Grow As Long As We Are Interested.
