I Kind Of Know What My Job Is, It's To Develop A Message That's Hopeful And Optimistic About The Future Of The Country, To Develop Ideas That Will Give People A Sense That They Can Lift Up, And To Tell Them About My Leadership Skills To Make It So.

Everybody Who Aspires To High Positions Of Leadership In Their State And In Their Country Should Be Willing To Take Unscreened, Unrehearsed Questions From The People Who Pay Their Salary.

A Lot Of Things In History Change Over Time.

I Don't Think It's The Highest Priority. I Don't Think We Should Ignore It, Either, Just Generally I Think As Conservatives We Should Embrace Innovation, Embrace Technology, Embrace Science. ... Sometimes I Sense That We Pull Back From The Embrace Of These Things. We Shouldn't.

I Used To Be A Conservative And I Watch These Debates And I'm Wondering, I Don't Think I've Changed, But It's A Little Troubling Sometimes When People Are Appealing To People's Fears And Emotion Rather Than Trying To Get Them To Look Over The Horizon For A Broader Perspective And That's Kind Of Where We Are.
